The young bride was nervous about her upcoming wedding. She was nervous about the ceremony but she was also nervous because of the little things about her husband-to-be that just worked her nerves.

The preacher, trying to help her, said, “You have nothing to worry about. The marriage ceremony is very simple. You walk down the aisle, you stand at the altar, and then a hymn is sung. If you remember those 3 things, you’ll be ok.”

On the wedding day the bride just kept repeating to herself, “It’s simple, right? Aisle. Altar. Hymn.”

“Aisle. Altar. Hymn.”

“Aisle. Altar. Hymn.”

But as she walked down the aisle and toward the altar, she looked at her groom and made a subtle change to what she said…”

“I’ll alter him.”

“I’ll alter him.”

And now you know why so many marriages are jacked-up!
