Some denominations with feigned holiness and contrived righteousness that have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof really need to be either reformed wholesale or scrapped altogether. There is so much man-made veneer laid over the person of Christ as to make Him obscure to an observer. We need to strip away this impure, cloudy veneer to make Jesus plain and visible to even the casual observer.
Jesus said that the traditions of men make of none effect the Word of God (Mark 7:13). Pause and think about that: the very Word that that created all things (Genesis 1) and upholds all things (Hebrews 1:3) is essentially nullified by what man doggedly clings to in lieu of what is prescribed by scripture.
So, all these things such as: no women pastors, women can’t wear pants, men can’t wear long hair, men can’t wear earrings, women can’t wear open-toed shoes, women can’t wear makeup, today’s preachers are the modern-day Levitical priesthood, etcetera, are all vain traditions of men that are not Scriptural and should be scrapped.
