Thank you for this post which echos my sentiments exactly. I too just heard about the 'religious' people saying judgmental statements. A funeral or memorial service should be respected by everyone by being sensitive to the bereaving family. A celebrity's service should not be used as a platform to convert or conform people's thinking. There is a time and place for that and it isn't at someone's funeral. I think the 'Christians' are off in their theology and are in wrong thinking. Seriously, no one has the right to criticize a service for someone who has passed, whether they are a celebrity or not. Beautiful Whitney, rest in peace and God bless your beloved family.

It will remain necessary as long as tithing is taught as an obligatory, compulsory act.

Let the people tithe.

10 percent or more or less

my question is why do people want to reason this out?

There is no need, 10 percent is just a guideline, in all organisations there are standards, so other churches when they feel they prefer the old testament way of doing things, leave them why bother?

Do you now want to write the revised newest testament?

Truthfully, I don't expect many likes or "Amens" to this, considering the way folks were clowning on her funeral, today.
