Jesus also included this in the model prayer "...on earth as it is in Heaven..." I have discovered that God has given divine inspiration to me as a musician that transcends the secular labels placed on it in the world today. What I've also noticed is that before tainted, all good and perfect things(gifts) are given of God and should be treated that way when 'received' from God. What a wonderful experience 'church' will become when the body fully receives the revelation laid out in this post. Bless you Bishop Day! Interesting and eye opening! Suffering for Christ has nothing to do with sickness...unless, of course, you were purposely infected by unbelievers because of your faith. I think that American Christians in the last hundred years or so have used every bad thing that's happened to them as an opportunity to earn Brownie Points for being persecuted. I agree. Add to that that He says in this world we WILL suffer tribulation, even thought He reminds us that He has overcome the world, and, I believe we can too, but it will come as we learn obedience and trust, and as we let Him take dominion inside of us more and more, through the process called "sanctification." Even so, come Lord Jesus. I believe that a person could have a problem free life, if and when they lay down their will and accept His entirely in their life.
